About Chelsea

I keep people alive for a living — running a harm reduction movement, supporting clients as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist, and getting into good trouble organizing in my local community for progressive causes. And I'm turning everything I learned the hard way into a guide for Accidental Activists.

I’m trying to balance the fire that got me here while taking care of my family with my husband (and my mom, the lady in the pic), and enjoying copious amounts of coffee, nature, needlepoint, historical fiction novels, travel, and cheese.

Follow Me

On The Mic

I'm the guest who says the thing everyone's thinking, but nobody will put on the record — the truth about the opioid overdose crisis and its intersecting issues, what harm reduction actually means, how trauma shows up in ways we are untrained to recognize, and how an ordinary grieving person ends up taking on politics, Big Pharma, Big Insurance, and Big Healthcare. I bring the story, the facts, receipts, and zero corporate hedging. I’m here to tell the truth, teach, and move people to action.
